Paphiopedilum maudiae type hybrids are usually available in three colors: maroon, green and black. From a crop of many lady slipper orchids (paphiopedilums are referred to as lady's slippers), we hand select the black orchid. To make the black orchid appear even darker, we add a sprig of genuine black bamboo to support the orchid. The orchid is then presented in our black ceramic planter adorned with living Spanish moss (Spanish moss is also an epiphyte like an orchid). The result is a beautiful arrangement of a black orchid that anyone will be thrilled to receive. Orchid in planter measures approximately 14 inches tall. Sent in bud and bloom ready to be enjoyed by that black orchid lover.
