The word Buddha means awakened one or enlightened one.  Siddhrtha is the first Buddha's real name.  A Buddha is a person who is completely free from all faults and mental obstructions of life. There are many people who have become Buddhas in the past, and many people will become Buddhas in the future.  That is the hope of all mankind.  Our Buddha measures 3 1/2" tall and is made of heavy resin.
