Fragrant Sinensis (meaning Asian type) cymbidium orchid with flowers that emit a tart scent that smells like raspberries. A special orchid indeed, Cymbidium Nut "Taida" is the pride of the grower in Taiwan that produced this plant. The sepals (all orchids have two petals and three sepals) curl backward as the flowers mature. The striped, dusty rose coloration is very interesting. The orchid flower spike can be allowed to cascade or can be held up by an orchid stake. Allowing the spike to cascade creates a beautiful cascade of flowers very beautiful to behold. Another interesting characteristic of this orchid is its upright growing foliage, the foliage does not arch but grows upward instead. Flowers are long lasting and sure to delight even the hardest to please. Highly recommended.
