Dendrobium Nestor "Nagata" is a special dendrobium orchid that produces flowers right from the cane. The fragrant flowers will grow in compact formation right on the stalk or canes as they are known on Dendrobium orchids. It is ideally suited for the collector who will appreciate this rare orchid's growth habit. When the flowers have bloomed and dropped, all that remains are bare, gray canes. New growth and foliage on Dendrobium Nestor "Nagata" will appear in Spring at which time green foliage will appear on new canes which then produce flowers. The purple flowers are fragrant and beautiful which contrast beautifully against the gray colored canes.
