A profusion of blooms grow in a compact formation that makes you think the ball is the flower.  A closer look reveals some of the smallest flowers in the plant kingdom perched on a gray stem.  This very interesting orchid produces long, top heavy stems that can be cut back to produce more plants.  If you have a green thumb, this can be done very easily.  The flowers are special indeed.  The tips a bright green and they are as white as snow.  The size of the flower ball is slightly smaller than a baseball and can produce a crisp scent.  Rare.
