This beautiful miniature Philippine species orchid is truly a site to behold. Dendrochilum filiforme produces fragrant flowers on a stem the size of a reed of grass which extends upwards then hangs downward from the weight of the tiny flowers. One flower stem produces hundreds of tiny flowers so small that you need to get right up to the plant to see the flowers. You will be amazed to discover that they are actually flowers adorning the stem! The flowers are arranged on each side of the stem giving the flower spike a flattened appearance.
