Epiphronitis Veitchii is a cross of Epidendrum radicans, the huge tropical orchid, and sophronitis coccinea, a cool growing miniature. The result is a small but untidy reed stem Epidendrum with nicely shaped and brilliantly coloured flowers. Ephr. Veitchii has more roots than you can shake a stick at! The entire plants is covered with roots which gives this orchid an interesting look. If you are into unusual orchids, buy this plant. The flowers do not grow in a ball cluster like other Epidendrum types but the unusual foliage makes up for it. We are offering this special plant in our 4" growing pot.
