What is the 1888Orchids.com Affiliate Program?
The 1888Orchids.com Affiliate Program is a revenue sharing program whereby
you get paid for each visitor you bring to our site that makes a purchase. It's
a fast and easy way to add e-commerce to your site by simply placing one of our
banners or textual links on your site, blog or social site...
How do I access the Affiliate Page?
You can log into your
customer account at the 1888Orchids.com store and can click on the "Visit My Affiliate Page"
link at the bottom of the page. From here, you will have access
to reports on the number of click-throughs, sales and commission you
have generated in your affiliate account as well as up to 4
sub-affiliates that can be registered under you. Pretty cool huh?
Each affiliate's page will also contain a link to enable you to
quickly create HTML banner ads that can be posted on web sites, blogs and
emails (these banner ads will contain links back to the 1888Orchids.com store
plus the affiliate ID information for tracking purposes).
Finally, this page will contain your affiliate link. This link is
the
URL of the 1888orchids.com store accompanied with your affiliate ID
information. Clicking on this link will redirect visitors to the
1888Orchids.com store and will record all sales and click-throughs
under your affiliate account. You will want to copy this URL and embed
it
as a hypertext link on any websites, blogs or in any email/online
marketing
material you have access to.
Do I have to become an affiliate to link to 1888Orchids.com?
No. You can link to our site without becoming an affiliate. If you website
is garden related, we promise to add a reciprocal link linking both sites. If
you simply want to add a reciprocal link, please see our Add URL page under Orchid Rescources.
Does 1888Orchids.com ship internationally?
No. We currently do not ship internationally because of CITES
restrictions. However, you can still participate in our Affiliate Program and
get paid for those orders that are shipped within the United States. We welcome
overseas affiliates who have a U.S. customer base.
How much does it cost to join?
It's FREE! The only cost to you is the time you spend setting up the
program.
Where do I get the banner links?
We create the banners for you. Simply copy and paste some HTML code to
your site and you're up and running. If your site is aesthetically pleasing and
fully functional, you will be approved as an affiliate so you can start earning
commissions fast.
Do you supply commission reports?
Yes. Once you are approved as an affiliate, you receive a user name and
password via email which you will use to log in to access your reports.
When and how do I get paid?
You will be paid monthly when the amount exceeds $25. All checks will
be mailed to the billing contact you input on the Affiliate
Application. We are excited with our new affiliate software which
allows us to generate affiliates checks and mail them to you quickly.
What products on 1888Orchids.com count for commissions?
All products on our site count for commission.
I have more than one URL, can I register each of them?
You may register more than one URL as long as they are different sites and
not multiple URL's of the same one. Banners or text links provided must be
placed on the site mentioned on the affiliate application.
What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate?
1888Orchids.com will provide you with the tools and assistance you need to
link to our site. You must agree with the Affiliate Agreement. We will provide
you graphics, banners, and links to place on your site. We will handle the rest:
taking orders, shipping, billing customers, and paying commissions.
