With a name like Gongora, this orchid has to be weird. First, the design of the flower is so complex it is hard to describe but the flowers are fragrant so that makes it extra special. The flowers of Gongora maculata x (Red) smell like cinnamon mixed with the scent of a baked cake. The scent is not crisp and you may think the flowers are edible - but don't eat it!
