The color combination is amazing! The sepals are darker than the petals. The petals match the color of the center labellum which is a dark fuschia. Just looking at this orchid makes you feel special. Our special Cattleya orchid is being offered in our five inch growing pot as a mature six to seven year old plant. As the plant matures the flower count increases and a cluster of flowers will reward someone who is special enough to be around such a special orchid plant.
NOTE OF INTEREST:
This orchid is known as a bi-foliate Cattleya which means the flower spike grows from the center of two leaves. Bi-foliate Cattleyas have two leaves from where the flower stem extends as apposed to one leaf. Most bi-foliate Cattleyas are fragrant like Lc. Loog Tone "Africa Beauty" HCC/AOS. Now you know!
